What we do
Screening mammograms where women already are
Radhiant Diagnostic Imaging runs 7 mobile 3D mammography units from five bases across South Africa. With 300+ communities across all nine provinces, we help make breast cancer screening accessible to women in rural, urban and underserved communities.
Every unit carries 3D mammography equipment and comes to your workplace, your town or your event. Specialist radiologists read every study and report to the referring doctor within 3 to 5 working days. We welcome private and group bookings, and we accept cash or medical aid.
- A screening mammogram costs R1,200 cash, or is billed directly to your medical aid.
- Your doctor has the report within 3 to 5 working days, and you can see it in the My Radhiant app.
- Every abnormal result is phoned through by a person, to you and to your doctor.
- Every woman screened goes onto next year's recall list.
Every mammogram gives one
Every paid mammogram booked with Radhiant funds a free screening for a woman without medical aid, delivered through the Radhiant Foundation. She gets the same 3D screening, on the same unit, read by the same radiologist as any paying patient.
HerWay
HerWay: your yearly mammogram on subscription
Your yearly mammogram from R89 a month.
HerWay is our subscription plan. It includes one screening mammogram in each 12-month period at any Radhiant site, digital results, booking reminders and support. Plans run for 12 months, with a three-month waiting period before the included mammogram can be booked.
The Radhiant Foundation
Free screening for women without medical aid
The Radhiant Foundation, a Section 18A approved public benefit organisation, funds free screening mammograms for women without medical aid, delivered on our units on community days. Pledged, delivered and still-to-deliver figures are published on the Foundation site and updated every Friday.
